Web links in the NZSTATS database are arranged by subject.

For example:

Subject search

To search for migration statistics click on By Subject under the heading Browse Statistics

Click on the letter M in the alphabet that runs along the top of the page

Click on the word Migration in the list of subjects that appear

Scroll down the list to view all relevant links

Access problems

A small number of the websites are subscription sites and access passes through the Library’s EZproxy system, so access is not available if you are not a member of the University of Auckland Library. Access to some non-subscription sites may also pass through EZproxy (intentionally or unintentionally). If you are not a member of the Library and are presented with a University of Auckland Login screen, you can try the following:

  • Return to the OFFSTATS page.
  • Place your mouse pointer over the link in question, then click your secondary mouse button (usually the right button).
  • From the pop-up menu, select the option to copy the shortcut or link.
  • Paste the link into the browser address bar, then remove '' from the beginning of the link.
  • Go to the link.

If you find that you can access the full content of the website and it therefore does not appear to be a subscription site, you may contact OFFSTATS to see if EZproxy can be removed from the link on the NZStats site.
